AIM:
İzmir Journal of Social Sciences is a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, international and double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal published semiannually (two issues per year) online within the body of İzmir Academy Association.
The main objective of the journal is to publish quality academic studies in the areas of economics, public finance, econometrics, business, business economics, business analytics and business intelligence, tax applications and financial economics, management information systems, public administration and international politics, that are based on empirical and/or theoretical research, comparative studies and case studies.
The journal prioritizes interdisciplinary, comparative and applied publications that address regional, national and international issues and problems. Manuscripts are evaluated for journal scope suitability upon submission. Out of scope manuscripts might be considered for publication depending on the field/discipline and overall suitability with a journal. The final decision rests with the Editor.
The publication language of articles published within the journal are Turkish, English and French.

PREPARATION OF ARTICLE

Manuscripts should be submitted in Word in either "docs", "doc" or "RTF"
format using a normal, plain font (e.g., 12pt. Times New Roman),
double-spaced throughout with margins of 2.5 cm. Pages should be
numbered on the right upper corner. Articles should normally be no
longer than thirty double spaced typewritten pages including references,
and organized as follows:
The list of references should be provided at the end of the article,
under the title "References", should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication.
Reference list entries should be alphabetized by the last names of the first author of each work. The author(s) are responsible for the accuracy of the references. Examples are given below:

Extended Abstract: An extended abstract written in English is required for articles written in Turkish and French.
Tables: Each table must be typed double-spaced within the body of the main text. Tables should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals in order of appearance in the text and should include a short descriptive title typed directly above and essential footnotes including definitions of abbreviations below. They should be self-explanatory and should supplement rather than duplicate the material in the text.
Figures and Graphs:
For the best quality final product, photographs should be created/scanned and saved in either TIFF or JPEG format with a
resolution of at least 300 dpi and 1200x960 pixels and should be sent electronically. Line drawings, graphs and, etc. may be embedded within the body of the main text. Publication of colour illustrations is free of charge. All figures should be numbered sequentially in the text with
Arabic numerals and should be referred to in parentheses within the text. Figure parts should be denoted by lowercase letters (a,b,c, etc.).
Figure legends All figures should include a legend below the figure. Legends for photographs should appear on a separate page after the references. Figure captions begin with the term Fig. in bold type, followed by the figure number, also in bold type. Abbreviations and symbols used in the figures must be denoted in the legend.

NO submission, processing, page, coloured figures, publication, or open-access charges are received from authors.
All articles are freely available as early online and on the day of publication on the journal’s website.
Izmir Journal of Social Sciences articles are Open Access (OA) and fully compliant with funder OA mandates; they are free to read without a subscription.
Izmir Journal of Social Sciences does not receive payments from authors under any name. The reviewers, editors and other board members also work on a voluntary basis without any fee. If the publisher has an opportunity, it can give awards or make payments to the editors, reviewers and other board members.
Language Editing Services Fee
The responsibility for the grammar and language of the articles in the article belongs to the authors.
Our journal, editors or reviewers do not provide any paid services. If there is a need for language correction and proofreading, the author can have them done by independent organizations and individuals. Our journal has no responsibility for that process.
